Why is nutrition important? What we eat, and for how long is the biggest factor in our health. To put it simply, what we put in our bodies has a direct influence on how we think and feel. It can also affect our body in different ways. Whatever your body is missing, or has too much of, can affect your health. In turn, it can cause your body to react adversely.
Eating is human nature. We all need to eat, and in today’s world, it is not difficult to find food. However, with convenience comes temptation. Marketing firms are quick to throw buzzwords, catch-phrases, and attractive packaging—all in the name of getting people to buy with their feelings. Calming color schemes and turns of phrases on packaging hide foodstuffs that are high in things that are simply not nourishing or meaningful to the human body. Items that claim to be healthy can be harmful.
